Reset the router and it should go back to the default details (which may not match what your piece of A7 says)Also somewhere on the router may be the default log-ins for when you do reset it.
Thank you for this. I reset it and it worked. I can now login to the wifi!Look at it this way... In a hundred years who's gonna care?0 -
As I said back to basics first, forget changing passwords for now. Does the internet work first?
If you are connected to the wifi (assuming you used the wifi name and password which is on the bottom of the router to connect to it. Can you go to websites such as www.google.com or www.bbc.co.uk?
If you can then the wifi and internet are working fine, and that is the main part.
The only time you need to go to the 192.168.1.1 address is when you want to do any administration on the router itself. for day to day use you do not need to do this.
Confirm that the router and the EE connection is working first.

Great.
On that first screen you showed saying Modify Password, that is where you change the admin password.
The wifi password I assume is a random set of letters and numbers. If so I would just leave this as is as it will be unique to the router, they don't all go out with the same wifi password.
If you do want to change it, then that is the WLAN Key field and needs to be at least 8 characters long and ideally randon characters (upper and lower case) and numbers mixed together.1 -
