Not just pensioners (even though I am), I keep coins in my car (had to find a use for the redundant ash tray) just for paying in car parks and I am sure that I am not the only one. If a car park is not going to allow the user to pay in a time honoured way, maybe there should be a HUGE sign outside saying cash not accepted, we don't really want your custom unless you drive in, get caught by our entrapment scheme and end up with a PCN!3

exactly what annoyed him the sign said cash he had cash but machine does not take cash. A hospital should have all options at every machine to save vulnerable people walking round car parks in bad weather trying to find a machine that takes cash2

Missed that it was a hospital, complain to PALS at the hospital - even though you were OK, you might save some other patients the same anguish as the guy in front of you.3

I will pay with card/cotactless, and i too have cash in my car for parking , but i will not use an app to pay for parking

I agree with that. I will accept paying by card. I tend to have a mistrust of these apps, and in any case resent being told I have to download another one ...... let alone the scam supporting, PCN creating time taken to do so and then pay.Half_way said:I will pay with card/cotactless, and i too have cash in my car for parking , but i will not use an app to pay for parkingThe pen is mightier than the sword ..... and I have many pens.2
