Vodafone Smart V10 losing WiFi connection.

Options
Hi.

I have the above phone set up for a single purpose, just sitting there, permanently connected to my WiFi (a Vodafone router). All has been fine for donkey's, but over the past couple of weeks, the WiFi has disappeared completely from it, icon and all.
Trying to reconnect, it doesn't even find my router - even when next to it. The WiFi icon on the screen is completely missing.
I have tried rebooting. I have tried resetting 'WiFi, mobile & Bluetooth', and now't.
Then, with it sitting on the sideboard a few days later, the icon appeared and it connected. A few days after that, it's gorn again. What the?!
Weirder, when I tried connecting to new networks just now (after another 'reset', so starting with no networks showing), it found a 'PostOffice' network, and then a 'Sky' one, but not my Voda - even tho' I took the phone right up to my bludy router. But, WiFi icon not showing either. Even tried adding my Voda network manually, but now't - can't find it.
What's going on? A physical, 'electronic component' fault? Or an Android issue (I think t's '9') - can you reinstall OS like with a PC?

Thanks :-)

Check in your router settings* whether all WiFi bands are enabled / switched on.

Checked, and yes - both 2.5 and 5GHz.
The Voda phone doesn't appear in the WiFi listings - my other phone does. (Mind you, there's a couple of devices that aren't 'named' as such, so no idea what they are.)

    D'OH!
Couldn't log in to the hub this morning - I was going to try changing the WiFi SSID addy and password - but couldn't even get on!
So, I er, reset the router, and everything is back to normal... :-(

    For a day.

I can get it back by resetting my router, but the WiFi connection to this particular phone is lost again after a day or so.

    What the heck?
