World Cup Calendars - Outlook

Hoping someone can advise - I want to add the fixtures for the world cup to my outlook calendar, however most downloads add these as a seperate calendar - I want them to be shown with my existing appointments.
I did think of downloading a calendar, and then "forwarding" on the individual events to myself and then accepting the invitation so it shows in my calendar - but thought there must be an easier way ( a bit like how bank holidays are added ).
Thanks if anyone can help!

Think you need to "subscribe" to an appropriate calendar supplier. You add a URL to your Outlook calendar and allow it access, that way the calendar entries for subsequent rounds will update automatically once the previous match results are known.
Here's one https://fixtur.es/en/fifa-world-cup-qatar found by Googling.
I'm sure others are available and I can't vouch for any of them (I have no interest in soccer).0 -
Yes, thats the one I have - but that creates a seperate calendar - as if it was a different person who I can see the calendar of - what I want is that the actual fixtures appear in MY calendar as if I'd been invited to that appointment.
I did wonder if I could select all of the appointments in the FIFA calendar, then forward to my outlook email, and then "accept" the invitation so it appears in my calendar - but that seemed like overkill - must be an easier way!

Ah, OK, I use Google Calendar and have subscriptions for other events that appear in my calendar exactly as you want them to. Maybe an Outlook "feature" ?
Hopefully an Outlook calendar user on here can be of more use?0 -
