PCN Issued despite having valid ticket

Hi, hoping someone can advise best way forward … a couple of weeks ago we visited Glass Mill Leisure Centre in Lewisham (London). No signal in car park so couldn’t use app, Apple Pay not working, wouldn’t accept debit card so had to pay cash. £3 all day.
Fast forward two weeks and we receive a PCN for £100 or £60 if paid in 14 days.
I know I purchased correct ticket so appeal online. Questioning myself and stated on appear that possibly entered incorrect ref plate (from my other car which is similar plate or zero instead of ‘o’.
Since then I’ve heard that three friends also received PCN after purchasing ticket for the same time/day. We were all attending a swimming gala so I’m investigating if there are more of us.
Can’t be a coincidence that four of us said we purchased tickets but still received charges. Online reviews suggest this is a common issue at this car park. Unfortunately we didn’t keep ticket (lesson learnt) but are we likely to have this cancelled?

Surely one out of four has their ticket?
I reckon you all "took too long" according to the PPC scammer: taking more than 5 minutes to pay.
With ANPR parking firms, many of them churn out unfair PCNs which count the minutes from the point you drove past the camera at the entrance. Many allow a bare minimum 5 minutes.
Just the time taken to park can be more than 5 minutes on a busy day/at a busy venue, let alone sorting out the kids, walking over to read the signs, queuing to pay, then trying and failing to download an app, then looking for alternative payment methods, scrabbling around for cash then finally getting a ticket from the machine!
Which PPC?
Our standard acronyms are fully explained in the NEWBIES thread that you all need to read first.
No paying! Nothing to be scared of and this is not a fine. Stop the others from paying. Obviously the first thing you all need to do en masse, is to complain to the venue, but we assume you already tried that, as anyone would?PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Zero and the letter O are the same thing on the number plate font, PPC systems should take this into accountFrom the Plain Language Commission:

This car park seems to be managed by two PPC's that's strange:

... and when you click on Show Map on that APCOA webpage you get a map of Uxbridge.
As you say... how strange.3 -
Even stranger is APCOA's exit procedure: -Exit Procedure:
Drive to exit and press barrier to exitDo you press it with your car?

Thanks everyone. I think the leisure centre is now getting involved so fines should be cancelled.2
