Solar Panel Funding and Evergen
A while ago, I put a speculative enquiry out to a company called Solar Panel Funding (www.solarpanelfunding.co.uk).
I've then been booked into an appointment next Thursday which Evergen will check out. Need myself and the wife there, told there is no government funding, etc ...
I'm not being given numbers and in all fairness the appointment will probably help with calculating things, but I cannot really afford £000's on panels just yet, but I like the idea of installing them and saving money on the electric and my car which is a hybrid. I see they offer finance, too.
My questions are -
1. In anyone's experience Is this a 'legit' firm? I see them on the FCA register and I don't see any negative reviews, but I see one remark on this forum showing them as a little pushey. I sort of agree with that.
2. is there the remote possibility that any finance they provide would cover any savings / electric to the grid, hence it's paying for itself for a few years?
Thank you so much.

If you don’t understand how PV solar savings work then you shouldn’t really be allowing a salesman into your house. You really need to know the questions to ask ranging from DNO approval; MCS Certification; solar output etc.
Personally, I am not sure that I would want to sign up for finance from an installer without a lot of research on interest rates. The cheapest loan that I could find was 7.8% APR. Bear in mind that your solar savings are unlikely to cover the loan repayments in the Winter months when there is little sun.
I would ask your question again on this forum:
