Myself and my wife are both pensioners and receiving the new state pension (separately). Today my wife received a letter confirming entitlement for the winter fuel payment of £250. Any idea if this payment is for a couple or will I also receive the same payment as well?

Strange, I've got a letter saying £500 for me alone. I'm 66 'n'half, not claiming benefits.Now a gainfully employed bassist again - WooHoo!0
