Good timing was going to look for a notice account today and somebody just posted their rates are up.....
Usual questions as I've never used them before .....
Ease of account opening and general 'performance' - although as its a notice account, not expecting to need much from their CS.....
Thanks as usual .....

FaceID wasn't working on my phone and I was therefore unable to use the app. Without the app you can't use the account.
Was a no-go for me short of buying a new phone. I know this is not likely to apply to that many, but shows the inflexibility of their process, most apps use passwords/passcodes and have the *option* for biometrics from your phone, rather than a requirement. May also apply to those with older phones.1 -

Couple of questions please
1. Must the opening transaction be the only transaction? I always send a £1 on my very first transaction on new accounts just to provide a layer of confidence over mistypes etc. My reading is that I’m only allowed a single transaction that must be over £1k. Is that correct?
2. Is there still an issue using Santander as the donor account as some experienced a while back?
Thanks.0 -
Oxbury allowed me to do a £1 test transaction when I opened a bond with them about a month ago.
Having to work solely within the confines of the app does seem a bit of a faff and counter intuitive, but can confirm it does seem to work!Save £12k in 2020 #42 £12,551.25 / £14,000 89.65%0
