'Double dip' nonsense, appeal and result. Bury, Woodfields, Tesco carpark.

Hello again,
I seem to pop up here every year or two 😊, here's my latest one. Hope it helps someone.
Visited Tesco twice in 2 days in July, both visits under 30mins each. Returned from holiday in September to a 'Reminder' letter from CP Plus/ Group Nexus demanding payment for overstaying the 3hrs permitted parking, alleging 26hrs stay. Obviously utter nonsense and extremely annoying because (a) I hadn't received the first letter, and (b) their camera system is obviously cr&p and missed an exit and entrance of the car.
I appealed using the text on the Newbies thread, nothing more nothing less. Received a letter today saying the parking charge has been cancelled. I was half hoping for it to go to POPLA so they could waste money on the fee and then get beaten down by my full appeal.
It did get me wondering though how many other people get demands for a double dip and pay up, what a bunch of crooks. I had all my movements tracked by Google maps and this clearly showed my 2 separate trips over the 2 days.
