Halifax two year fix for 3.6%
How far ahead are you wanting, 20 years?0 -
Lots of savings bonds providers will accept deposits in the millions e.g., Tesco Bank up to £5m. Just look through Moneyfacts' savings tables.GSP said:Looking for a product out there that would guarantee 3% p.a. for the foreseeable if anyone knows of any?

A few options to consider:An annuityhttps://www.hl.co.uk/shares/shares-search-results/t/treasury-3.5-22072068-gilt or similar (current running yield 3.4%)https://www.theaic.co.uk/aic/news/press-releases/the-investment-company-dividend-heroes (not guaranteed, but very likely a portfolio including these would continue paying dividends of at least the same value going forward)
There aren't many other long term options. Most people don't want to lock in for a long period of time, and many want an income that would rise with inflation.

If you're looking for a perpetual the closest these days are irredeemable preference shares e.g., Aviva's General Accident 8.875%, LSE:GACA, was yielding 7.75% when I looked earlier. These aren't nearly as low risk as the other options, though.

Potentially a widening of the search beyond savings accounts.
