Personal Assets Trust - fund version?

I recall previous discussions on the board regarding some of the 'wealth preservation' funds, such as Capital Gearing Trust and Personal Assets Trust, having 'fund versions'. Can someone please remind me of the fund version of PAT?

Troy Trojan. They perform very similarly. The IT's ticker is PNL, not PAT.

Yes - the standard version is Trojan O, Trojan X is the same but at a lower charge available through some, but not all, platforms.Aged said:

My provider lists two options, as follows
Troy Trojan Acc
Troy Trojan Acc -U
The difference as far as I can see is that the fund manager charges for the first version are higher than for the second version, therefore I assume that the -U is the one to go for?0 -
No U class listed on Trustnet, click the 'all units' tab

No it's not a share class. I think the U stands for unbundled, which now that I think of it is something to do with the abolition of adviser trail commissions, so the other one is an outdated version? The info sheet for the -U one says that it's the O fund so I think I'm goodColdIron said:No U class listed on Trustnet, click the 'all units' tab

We have two threads on CGT and PNL running. Can I suggest people head over to the other which has more content? https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/6397719/capital-gearing-trust/p1
