Door hinges - size and number

I'm fitting a new internal door frame to a partition and will hang a solid core door. The door dimensions are 1981x768x35mm and I estimate its weight at approx 25kg without fittings. I plan to fit stainless steel hinges with bearings. What size hinges (3" or 4") are suitable and I'm assuming that fitting 3 hinges would be better?

The hinges should state the weight they will take, usually expressed 'per pair'. i.e. if they can take 20kg per pair, then 3 hinges can take 30kg.
When I did this, I chose hinges that were rated for a pair of them to take the door to avoid needing three. Partly because they tend to come in packs of two, partly because I think two look better, and because two is less effort.1 -
My internal doors (solid wood, four panel) are all mounted with just two 75mm (3") mild steel hinges. No fancy bearings... They have been fine for over 90 years.
Any language construct that forces such insanity in this case should be abandoned without regrets. –
