Wet and Forget shower cleaner

I'm not sure how this would be any better than say, putting any other product in your bathroom, and then rinsing it down the next day?

This is the thing

I'd be very wary of using it because of this warning that is included in the ad text

    Warning
    • Causes skin irritation.

    • Use biocides safely. Always read the label and product information before use.

In my experience the knack to keeping your bathroom, or anywhere else, clean is to make it easy and quick to do. Keep the surfaces as clear as you can and the cleaning implements visible and readily to hand.

Tbh, I don't mind the cleaning of the toilet or the sink

The bath tub however is a much bigger task

I agree that the cleaning the bath can be awkward and painful too if you have a bad back. I go round mine while it's warm and wet after I've used it as it's easier to clean before the soap etc. has dried on and I use an e-cloth wrapped round the head of one of these OXO Good Grips Extendable Tub & Tile Scrubber | Lakeland.

PS If you don't mind cleaning toilets I should think you could make a good living out of other people's reluctance to scrub theirs.

Potentially so. Extra money is always good. Once you get over the "eurgh it's a toilet" factor, cleaning toilets is quite easy

I'll have a look at those good grip thingies

Thanks. Also may I ask why you used an e-cloth instead of a microfibre cloth?

I think I've confused you by calling my microfibre cloth an e-cloth. I have always thought of the two terms as interchangeable until now so sorry for that. I think that the first microfibre cloths I bought were probably from that brand and that the name stuck in my memory.

I've found that using soap instead of shower gel has reduced my shower cleaning dramatically.
And the non slip in shower mat stays clean.

The only downside is that you don't get the perfume smell that lingers

I can rise and shine - just not at the same time!

I've just bought that too. It's pretty decent. I really like the Oxo stuff, though their stuff is a bit pricey for what it is
