Help needed with understanding smart meter and registers

OK - SMETS2 meter went in. I cannot fault the meter engineer in any way - absolutely superb.
I now have a whizzy looking IHD thing which is quite entertaining - I put the kettle on and run out to the utility room to look at it; go round switching things off to see change in consumption etc. etc.
Hopefully the closing reading on old SMETS 1 which I double checked with engineer and took photo, (pressing 9 was confirmed as correct by the meter engineer), and start at 0 for the new meter will feed through to billing and all will be sorted.
Fingers crossed.Fashion on the Ration 2025 37/661 -

It's amazing how those with a can-do attitude and willingness to 'pitch in and work' get all the luck, isn't it?
Please consider buying some pet food and giving it to your local food bank collection or animal charity. Animals aren't to blame for the cost of living crisis.0
