Winter fuel payment

I’m not sure if this is the right place to post this, but here’s my question:

Both my wife and I receive the state pension. I have just received a letter telling me that I will get a payment towards fuel bills this winter, but my wife has never received this payment. Is she also entitled to this, or is it one per household?

 I will just add that I looked at the advice on gov.uk, and it doesn’t seem to answer this question.

I'm pretty sure it's per household rather then per pensioner.

It's per household, but split between (in this case) two eligible pensioners.

We will get £250 each this year, just not sure if this will be in one payment, or if it will be split into £100 each normal WFA plus additional extra of £150.

Thank you, both. I have been told I will get £500, so I guess that's for both of us.

They have you down as not living with anyone else eligible to claim.
You and your wife should each receive £250 so the same amount either way.
