Filing Limited Company Accounts and CT600 Return

Myself and 3 other shareholders own a small property investment company which itself owns one principal commercial building producing an annual rent income circa £60K to £70K.
All previous filings were undertaken by an accountancy practice of which our company directors were all partners.
Things have now moved on and we are investigating how we should file our annual company accounts.
Because of the investment company status of the company, we are prevented from making filings direct through the Government Gateway.
We are looking for a software product which will allow us to convert annual accounts into statutory format and make the necessary filings.
There are a list of approved providers on HMRC website, but we are looking to purchase a product which is not restricted to practising accountants. (e.g. Taxcalc Accounts Production).
Any recommendations would be appreciated.
We do not wish to use the services of a third party accountant.

I've used freeagent in the past - but it does a lot more that just CT.
Why can't you still use accountants ( even if they were different ones? ).1
