    Ah yes, missed that.

    That suggests it's probably detached from the house then, probably with an uninsulated roof, so heating may be about as futile as it was when I tried it with mine.

    The garage is indeed detached from the house with a separate consumerism unit. From the help above, it seems there might well be a way with a Ct clamp and monitor system. I've seen the emporia Vue energy monitoring system system which seems like it might do the job, but it's not cheap.

    This is also the not about running the heating particularly, although there will be heating. Appliances as well will be used, although maybe I'll look at a DIY temporary roof lining as well, as I'm sure all the heat will just be going up and out the roof (just the joists above the main garage area)

    Not as data rich, but someone linked this: https://www.tlc-direct.co.uk/Products/RDCRED100.html in the next thread over. Seems inexpensive* and would let you account for all the consumption in the garage.

    *There is the call out cost of an electrician as well of course.
