Sewer building over agreement

Hi,
I am currently building an extension, the builder found a shared sewer pipe from my neighbour that I thought initially that it's not public as not on severn trent map so the builder rediverted it without ST approval.
I realised later that it is considered a public pipe so I contacted severn trent that asked for a cctv camera survey to be emailed to them and I did that but unfortunately they declined offering a sewer condition letter and asked for a planner and I  fell chances are not very good in getting a sewer condition letter.
I'm really worried that I won't be able to get an agreement with them and that building regs contact them before certificate of completion issued and they decline it,
And agaun I won't  be able to get an indemnity insurance now.
Can I please have a good advice as this is really distressing?

Any photos of how the new pipe was laid, lintels over foundation parts and stuff? Ie, evidence that it was done properly?

What do you mean by "planner"?

Can you post a scanned copy of their letter (or email screenshot) with the personal details redacted so we can understand what is going on here.

They emailed that they are not able to accept the new pipe as there is an open joint ( which can be repaired) but also I called them and they stated that there may be some issues if we did some work in my neighbour property (I'm not sure of that at work was on the junction between me and neighbour) and if confirmed  they will not issue the letter. That's why they wanted a drawing of the original pipe path and the diverted one. Not sure what to do?

right. first of all, calm down a bit, I've been through this and it all worked out in the end. public sewers are a bit of a nightmare, but there's always a way and unless you've done something wrong, the water authority will usually grant approval (in the end).

first things first, take a piece of paper and sketch the layout of the current house, the proposed extension and the drainage in your garden + pipes coming from the neighbours. mark what has been changed/removed/diverted and if possible, post some pictures of the work done, mainly where the foundation bridges the pipes, connections into manholes etc.

Give them the plan/drawing they are asking for.

If you've had a drainage survey done then that would normally come with a sketch plan, or at least enough detail to draw one yourself. If you don't feel up to that, ask the drainage survey company to do one for you (at reasonable cost)

If the builder didn't know/didn't bother about getting a public sewer diverted lawfully, then what is the situation with Building Control?  Has the extension had proper plans drawn up and submitted to BC for approval?  And also, very importantly, have you ensured the extension has planning consent or is permitted development?  I.e. hopefully you aren't relying on the builder to do all of this for you without checking yourself.
