Got it thanks. I have started filing this form (hope it it the correct one!) https://assets.publishing.service.gov.uk/government/uploads/system/uploads/attachment_data/file/1079639/N180_Final_Form.pdf
as there are a few dates I can't make during the holiday season.
I have also paid the £275 fee.
Waiting for an email from CCBC with the chosen court/hearing date.
Thanks again for all your help!0 -
Am I expected to send the N180 DQ form to the claimant as well?0

The final sentence of the N180 DQ tells you.stickyToffee_pudding said:Am I expected to send the N180 DQ form to the claimant as well? Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

Quick update. I have signed a consent order with the claimant to cancel the claim (but with no costs). The claimant's solicitor told me the consent order has been filed with the court to be sealed. Sine I haven't received any confirmation from the court, am I expected to attend the set aside hearing? The hearing is happening soon and the trust register still shows the CCJ as outstanding.0

Why did you sign that?
None of us would have suggested signing (they ALWAYS try this trick). You aren't meant to agree, in our view, because your £275 is now in the bin and would have likely been awarded to be refunded by the Claimant. You'll have to phone the court the day before the hearing to see if it's going ahead or not.
This has wasted your £275. Such a shame.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
