Eon Next said we can't have a smart meter as there is no WAN signal. Seems a bit baffling and once again another example of those living in rural communities missing out. would have really love to be able to take up the offer. Seems a good idea to me.0

I was expecting Octopus to have announced the first saver session.
But I haven't received a notification yet.0 -

Currently gas and electricity are both cheap on the day-ahead and balancing markets, so no need for a saver session.

Hi just found this link that may be of interest to some https://octopus.energy/blog/results-big-dirty-turn-down-trial-paid-off-peak-energy/
if you are with Octopus and can reduce your usage a peak times this may be worth setting up.
For obvious reasons, you need a smart meter and set reading for every half hour.
Hope this info is helpful. There are more questions than answers :shhh: :silenced:WARNING ! May go silent for unfriendly repliesPlease excuse me Spell it MOST times:A UK Resident :A0 -
Just out of interest does anybody know if the Octopus scheme will apply to Bulb customers once we have moved over? We hope that Octopuses arms stretch out for good offers!!

When Octopus took over coop energy they put me on a coop branded tariff that had price parity with Octopus. Whilst on this tariff I wasnt able to switch to Agile online, however over the phone moving over to an Octopus branded tariff was easy, no need to pay off any existing balance etc. effectively just a tariff change, and after that point I had access to all Octopus features.
