Any idea how long local authority searches are taking for Sevenoaks District Council?

We're selling my late mother's property and the buyer is waiting for the local authority search results. It's been just over three weeks now. I was wondering if anyone had recent experience of the length of time these searches are taking? The council in question is Sevenoaks in Kent

5 working days apparently. Are you a FTB? Solicitors aren't usually very quick about asking for the searches.0

Thanks for that. No, our buyer isn't a FTB. 3 weeks is beginning to sound like a long time!0

I would ask have they been submitted and if so want date are they due back. Ours took ages (that website says 30 working days, it was at-least 4 weeks) but we were told they were estimated to be back on 21st and they were.0

Thanks for the feedback. It sounds like the results are now back, but the buyer's solicitors have been sitting on them :0(0
