Hello,
I am leaving the U.K. I have credit cards with Santander, Barclays and Virgin Money. Can I take these with me when I leave, or do I have to cancel them? I'd prefer to keep them as I buy a lot of stuff in sterling. I owe £3K on the Virgin Money card @ 0% interest, and the other two cards currently have a zero balance.

You will need to speak to each bank on this. As there are different policies. Some will not allow it as you are no longer resident in the UK, due to issue with replacement cards & legal reporting issues.Life in the slow lane0

It may depend on where you are moving to... if its inside the EEA then that can create problems with passporting rules thanks to Brexit depending on if your bank has a license/permission to provide services in your new country of residence. Can also depend if you are maintaining a UK address or not.1
