"Please tell management to spread the word, so no-one actually PAYS but equally so that no-one actually thinks there is a valid and independent 'appeals service' LOL... and do no-one starts panicking when they get what they might wrongly think are bailiff letters!"

    Will do so coupon-mad thankyou.

"You will all win in court. Easy stuff."

Thankyou for your help. So much appreciated.

Just one last question before I send off this first appeal. I know this is just going through the motions but it turns out that Countywide PM have actually got the name of the car park wrong on the NTK. Its the wrong car park. The driver was not in the car park they have named but a different one nearby. Does this make any difference at first appeal stage or not?

Yes add that.  It COULD even win at IAS (unusually) if you provide evidence. Worth the laugh.

  • Some help please. Initial appeal refused as expected so would now like to appeal to POPLA but no POPLA code given. Instead the reply letter directs to IAS is this instead of POPLA? Been trying to find info on the newbies thread and all I find is this below so is it pointless to go through IAS. I presume they are the same as POPLA? Do I not need a code for IAS? Thanks

IAS = a 2nd stage 'SO CALLED independent' appeal service, applicable in England/Wales for IPC AOS members only. Pointless.

Did you not see the following in the NEWBIES you quote from:-

"POPLA IS OFFERED BY BPA AOS FIRMS"

"The 'IAS' offered by IPC companies is considered far worse than POPLA."

Correct, and I think that advice is clear?  Why on earth are you considering using IAS?

Because you agreed last month that it might work since the NTK had the wrong car park location on it.

Ooer, did I, good call... Haha!! Sorry.

Yes give it a try but don't expect to win.  It is unlikely but in rare cases it's worth the laugh.  And in 20% of cases the PPC drops out and gives up so that can make it worth a punt in a case like this.

DO NOT look for a template IAS appeal.

DO type it in yourself in your own words.

DO upload evidence before you hit the submit button.  You will have to prove it's the wrong location.

Do not use the £15 appeal service. Only ever use the usually useless free IAS appeal.
