I basically just keep an eye opene when Im in Maplins/Currys/PcWorld. They all very often have an offer on rechargeables in store, even if not online.

I get my from pound shop 4 for a £1.00 they last for ever im on my 3rd year with mine, once charged last for ages.Dont know where you live but the one in cheltenham always have them.

I recently bought from Play.com one was bought in mistake so need to off load that to ebay later

I tend to buy mine from 7dayshop.co.uk but postage is steep at £3.95 so buy a few things I think they still have a offer on at mo for cheaper postage

I bought my chargers (an 8 battery conditioner / charger and a 4 battery "1 hour" charger from 7 Day Shop).

Currently I am buying my batteries from "budpak" on eBay, 1300 mAh AAA and 3200 mAh AA batteries, the highest capacity AAA and AA batteries I have found so far. The seller has a rating of 100% from over 20,000 sales. So far I have been very impressed with the service and the performance of the batteries.

The last a lot longer than the Poundland ones, we get to take a few photos and our camera turns itself off using the cheap rechargables.
I've never had a problem buying from HK, the same seller has AAA, 9v and chargers for sale.
