I want to switch energy supplier for a better SEG rate
I am current with EDF for supply on the government discounted capped rate for both gas and electricity (Direct Debit). I also have an SEG with Octopus (4.1pkWh). I keep requesting to move my supply to Octopus, so that I can get the existing customer SEG rate, which is over 14p/kWh. Neither respond to my request to move. Is the switch guarantee still in place, because Ofgem don't respond either?

You should be able to switch your supply to Octopus without problem - many people have recently done exactly this.
Calling or using live webchat in some form appears to be more successful than any other method.0 -
From what I have seen the only way you will get to switch is to call them and see if they will accept you.0
