Would those with sophisticated Excel files be willing to share blank templates of their files to give others a headstart? I have the task of building an Excel file ahead of me and honestly don't know where to start....0

In Excel, click on File and you should see a selection of templates.

Thanks for everybody's answers.
I decided to go with an Excel-type spreadsheet (I'm using Open office that's basically the same thing but for free). I looked at some of the software suggested, but none seemed to do what I wanted it to do (or was too complicated/impractical). Spreadsheet seems to work just fine (for now, anyway).0
