NHS Pension trying to get an accurate estimate

Good morning all. I have asked for an early retirement estimate from the NHS ( for age 59 on 1995 scheme). This has come in higher than my TRS statement for retirement at 60. I asked them to recheck and it came in even higher. I have asked for clarification but keep getting told that it will be looked into. Can anyone help please. I just want a reasonable estimate so I can plan what work I will need to do if I retire. Current role to stressful.

If you are just in the 1995 scheme it shouldnt be too difficult to work a good estimate yourself using the combination of your membership * 1/80. You get an additional 3 years pension as a tax free lump sum. Your normal retirement age will be 60 so no reduction (assuming you dont have special officer status allowing you to have retired at 55)

It depends with the 1995 - I certainly had huge problems as had combined officer and practitioner membership - part final salary / part some type of CARE scheme and the calculation seeming to depend on what the weather was like outside at the time -
they told me they couldn't calculate properly until I actually applied for my pension so I had to guess how much extra lump sum to take to get under the LTA, even then it wasn't final as there were adjustments 18 months later0
