My Berkeley Precinct Sheffield VCS Parking Charge Notice successful County Court defence!!!!!!!!

Berkeley Precinct Sheffield Vehicle Control Services 2016 (yes 2016) PCN County Court defence success this week.
Thanks to the general advice from this forum and guidance on a brilliant Facebook page "Private Parking Tickets-help and advice" I have successfully defended a PCN.
My defence was inadequate signage, especially during darkness. No appeal though their or fromal parking processes by myself or engagement with claimant.
Eventully they started court in August 2021. All general advice on here and Facebook page used. Easy process by phone. First mediation hearing by phone attended by claimant’s representative. No mediation agreed.
This week Judge found in my favour as burden of proof falling to claimant not met i.e. “no evidence of adequate signage”. No claimant representative dialled in for final hearing. £95 per day expenses from claimant can be applied for by Witness Statement from myself to court within 14 days.
Thank you to this forum and those who replied to my emails for help.
In my favour I has time to do this, was confortable going to court and able to pay imediately if I lost hence avoiding a County Court Judgement.

Parking company and car park location in the title thread. VCS do a lot of their own litigation via their in-house legal team. Sometimes use Elms Legal.DE_612183 said:can you tell us which parking company, which car park and the legal team who failed miserably?
Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

ANOTHER VCS ONE BITES THE DUST!
And we sincerely hope you are au fait with the need to respond to the final Govt Public Consultation?
Hopefully - amongst all the political disruption - it will be open later this year.
We all need to ram the nail in the coffin of the false £70 'DRA fee' add-on, that actually funds the court claim and toxic CCJ culture, as well as the DRA gaslighting of people.
If PPCs manage to turn around the decision on banning the gaslighting / claim-funding 'fees' then the DLUHC will be rubber-stamping £200 parking charges and if that happens, they (Government) and the PPCs will wreck high streets and people's lives. Whoever is responsible, if that happens (and it very nearly did in 2021) must hang their heads in shame.
Just checking you are among those ready to respond to the questions as you have personal experience of how this crap feels?
Please come back here when it opens, and you can make sure you don't miss the Consultation:

Well done you

I never understand why VCS and Excel do not represent themselves when these claims are heard in Sheffield. They supposedly have a legal team.

UPDATE,Delighted to share news that £120 expenses received today from DCB Legal after this judgement. I sent in to court a simple ask for standard £95/day loss of earnings plus £25 for postage and printing expenses. No details of postage and printing sent in. BMA rates of pay for my employment as a doctor sent in as proof of loss of earnings rate although I gather £95 is maximum allowed. Decided upon in my favour by County Court without any attendance or phone calls.8
