didn't know that. even if you switched to an ovo tariff rather than sticking with your sse terms and conditions? i know some of the sse loyalty tariffs were much better than the ones on offer to ovo customers (i know because they made a mistake and offered the sse tariff to the wrong customer set and some people got to keep it when it shouldn't have been available for them)Effician said:ariarnia said:
well not really as ovo pay at least 3-5% on credit balances depending on how many years you have been with them. we intnetionally have a very high credit balance at the moment as the 4% we get is better than our current account.dan0292 said:The other thing is if they are doing this to a lot of people then they are collecting alot of cash in their bank. Them collecting interest rather than us!No interest for SSE refugees.I went through a similar situation to the OP & ended up switching supplier in August , OVO customer service was so bad it made the continuous hikes in DD's a nightmare to sort out.Almost everything will work again if you unplug it for a few minutes, including you. Please consider buying some pet food and giving it to your local food bank collection or animal charity. Animals aren't to blame for the cost of living crisis.0 -
The Interest Reward has been discontinued so will only apply to customers who joined OVO before 27 September 2021.Guess Ovo decided against paying interest on new accounts when they started to transfer the 3+ million new customer credit balances they took on from SSE.1
