Morning
Hugs to those that want/need them, those who are poorly and those who are looking after a poorly person x
Happy birthday to those with a birthday x
Dark, air feels cool to start the day.
DH and DS1 getting ready for work, I'm showered, dressed and enjoying my first cuppa and my porridge whilst on here. DS2 settled and happy..
Dinner last night was HM quiche, jacket potato, beans and cheese and salad. Tonight will be gammon and egg.
Earlier finish but will be a busy day as there's a function on, but will make the day pass quickly.
Keep safe and well x

Morning all and thanks for starting us off nmlc
lovely yoga session last night, it really does me good
need to prep some apples for freezing today, can’t keep up with them!
left over chicken and leek stew for dinner tonight, a nice easy one which will help tidy the freezer
not sure what the weather is doing here in coastal Kent today, fancy a walk along the prom if it’s dry

Morning folks.Rain and wind has been battering down all night and its still going. Yesterday was so windy again, sadly I didn't have any washing to do. I got myself deeply immersed in a complicated new spreadsheet which kept me occupied and then frustrated so I to finish it off today. My soup was awful 🙁 as I didn't have enough potatoes, it ended up weak and watery. I struggled through drinking some of it then gave it up.Today my new TV is coming. The installer comes up once a month to spend a week doing this work. I don't know exactly what time he'll appear so I'll be hanging around all day. I have a large pile of papers to scan and then burn so I won't be bored. I'll also get a pot of lentil soup on the go.I hope that everyone is doing well. Happy Thursday to all.11

Morning folks and thanks NMLC. After a run of nice sunny days today we have rain forecast. Oh well I suppose we do need it.
As it's a stay at home day I don't suppose it matters!
Only plans are for a kitchen and bathroom clean before tomorrow's Friday Tidy.. Such excitement! I am trying to eat all the silly bits and pieces cluttering up the freezers as they have once again ended up rammed and I can never find what I am looking for. What happened to the inventories I was determined to keep updated!!
Have a good day folks if you can and ((HUGS)) for our poorlies or just fed up. Welcome back CAMELOT it was good to hear Istanbul is still the same crazy busy city we loved. Take care one and all and be safe xx"If you dream alone it will remain just a dream. But if we all dream together it will become reality"11 -
Morning all. I've been up since 6.30am as was woken by some sort of silent lightening that I could see flashing behind the curtains. At least that's what I think it was!
Anyway, have had my first cup of tea and now catching up with things online. Paid a credit card bill but JL tell me I have money left on their previous card. Pretty sure I don't, as I'm always careful with things like that, but they may have got a bit out of synch with the change to their card provider.
Had a great 6 mile walk with friends yesterday, followed by a pub lunch. It was a lovely day to be out walking and the autumnal colours were gorgeous. Today I'm meeting a couple of other friends locally for coffee and then need to do a bit of music practice as I was sent 5 tunes last night, only one of which I know properly. It's that time of year when Morris sides are starting back to winter practice and are trying out new dances so the musicians have to try and keep up!
Off to do some laundry now. Have a good day everyone.

Morning All
Wet overnight but dry for now, the forecast isn't great for the next few days. Yesterday's washing went in front of the stove overnight and most of it is dry, ironing has been done this morning and it's ready to put away, most of it will be going into the summer box of clothes ready for next year.
Apart from shopping I didn't do anything yesterday, really didn't have the energy. I had a little nap around lunchtime and slept really well last night. Must try harder today!
The little one has now started nursery and needs some wellies to keep there so I'll go with DD to get her some new ones today. The stove chap is coming later to look at the fire, I can't close the door properly although it's working fine.
Hope you're all well, take care. XX9 -

Morning all and thanks for the start nmlc x
I didn't manage to post yesterday as went into the London office and then to see 'Emily' at the cinema - good film, would recommend. I did manage to read back and was LOL'ing at people's pant tallies - that's what I love about this thread - full disclosure and diverse subject matter!!
It's raining here and quite gloomy. I'm meeting a friend for a coffee this afternoon - will take a late lunch. Dinner is SC chilli con carne with rice and salad leaves.
DH not 100% happy with new sofas. The matching armchair (which they didn't have in store to try) has a different back cushion - foam instead of feather... Too late now! I told him it will be better for our backs now we are middle-aged....
Hugs to all the poorlies and fed up.

Morning all
Pouring with rain here and set in for the day, I am off to collect my private client today - he is in respite to give his very elderly mother a rest, she is an amazing woman, had three children of her own, and then adopted two children with learning difficulties and fostered many more, she is as sharp as a tac mentally but physically a bit frail now, she only has one at home now and I think she is finding it challenging but she is not ready to place him somewhere else yet.
Will go to my ex work today with my client its so nice seeing everyone but not having to slog away for hours, I will leave just after lunch as I need some shopping and I have to take him back to his respite.
Dinner tonight will be pizza and salad, nice and quick, dw has been emptied this morning and I will have a quick tidy round.
I counted my knickers yesterdayI have 25 pairs
all black and the same design from M & S, obviously a creature of habbit !
Have good days all and take care xx10 -
Morning everyone
Grey and drizzly here today. Nice and warm when I got up this morning - heating switched itself on and then off again just as it should.
I have work at lunchtime and a Tesco delivery when I get home again.
I like how we've all been counting our knickers!
Izzy - your boss is unbelievable! I always cook chicken in the air fryer now.
Well I'm going to get a few jobs done. Hope everyone has a good day today x

Morning all, well despite the weather girl saying the forecast was for a dry day, it's raining 🙁
Yesterday Mr Fix It was really quick having his injection and they even gave him his flu jab, so that saves him going to the flu club next week. He does have a sore left arm and a sore right side this morning, so he's being a bit over dramatic 🙄
My plans for today are now flexible as I was going to strip the bed and wash the bedding but doing any washing with this rain is off the table, so I might just change the bedding. I can also pack the birthday presents and write on the cards ready for next week and I'm sure I can occupy myself with some more unfinished tasks. Tea tonight will be bacon eggs etc, easy.
Izzy what is your boss like ! Words fail me.
taff sorry you had to wait for them to mend the machine, glad it didn't take too long though.
Take care all, hugs to anyone in need.
nan xx
