Hi,
I have a Mastercard credit card from Tesco that gives me clubcard points when I shop. Would linking this card with paypal earn me points? At the moment I only have my current account linked so when I buy something through paypal (on Ebay for example), the money is taken from there. If I linked my credit card instead, would the payment be taken from the card and clubcard points awarded or not?
Also, how would that work if I wanted to send money so someone using the friends&family option. Would it show on the credit card as a purchase or cash withdrawal? I don't want to be charged any extra fees.
Thanks!

FWIW, I've had credit cards linked to my PayPal account for as long as I've had it. If you have more than one payment method linked to your PayPal account, you can select a default and will need to select any different one to use at the point of sale if you don't want to use the default. I have one of my credit cards set as default, but can use another, or a current account, for a particular transaction if I prefer. When I've bought stuff that way with cashback cards (e.g., AmEx, Amazon), the transactions have always counted for cashback. Whether or not your Tesco card works the same way will depend on its own Ts & Cs. For a definitive answer, you should check those. Whilst I'm not familiar with that particular card, I'd be surprised if using it through PayPal doesn't qualify for points.I confess that I don't really understand the F&F option. However, the few times that I've used it, it's shown up on my card statements as a normal transaction and not as a cash withdrawal.0
