Energy £400
We have been informed by our site management that we will not be getting the £400.
Our site us "listed " as a holiday park. Electricity bill is charged to us quarterly by the site owners.
BUT some of us are 12 month residents. This is our only HOME. Paying separate water rates and council rax.
Is the £400 still due to us ?

No, if you pay your electricity bill to the site owners, you are not eligible.1

Is the £400 still due to us ?Initially, you fell through the cracks and were not eligible as you don't have a direct contract with an energy supplier. The government were supposedly looking into a way of ensuring you would get it. As someone who lives on a Residential Park Home site I can confirm that the latest update from the govt is that the intention is to pay the £400 via councils in the same way as we received the council tax rebate.
The problem for the OP is if the site he lives on is classified as a "holiday park". In those circumstances as they are not supposed to allow year long round use they will not be counted as a "main residence" and therefore there will no payments be made to people living on holiday parks.0 -
As above, you won't qualify for the scheme that pays it through your electricity supply (as that is through your landlord) but the government were supposed to be looking at how to get it to park home residents as an example.
Like the off grid heating people, its been mentioned but no how has been put in place yet.1 -
The government is claiming to look into the issue of park homes occupants and others who don't have their own electricity already since the initial £200 loan not loan was announced.
There have been several updates, all only stating that this will be addressed, but nothing really has happened since February.
