Santander - online documents slow?

Just wondering if it's just me or is this the new normal when downloading documents from online banking?
I ask because on the old interface, it used to be slicker - couple of clicks ... done.
With this new interface, it seems clunky and very slow for each statement or document you wish to view / download.
Is this your experience too?

I just managed to download a page of HTML then worked out I need to click the small download button in the top right of the embedded Acrobat window. I've never seen the old interface so couldn't say, but there's a lot of weird formatting, ambiguity and inconsistencies in Santander's online implementation and communication in general IMO.
