C rated Bosch Fridge Freezer vs A rated Samsung?

So
I want another fridge freezer for my garage area.
I've looked at this
And also this
The Bosch consumes 190KwH a year, and the Samsung uses 108KwH a year.
Current electricity prices won't go higher than 36p/KwH from now up until April 2023. Before the government stepped in, prices were going to go up to around 54p/KwH

Assuming that it'll rise to that amount again in April, then the Bosch costs £102.60 a year to run, and the Samsung costs £58.32 a year to run
I'm not sure which one to buy. On the one hand, I believe that Bosch is the better brand but on the other hand, the Samsung is more efficient
Unfortunately Bosch don't have an A rated fridge freezer, and if anything, the only A rated ones are LG / Samsung ones. The same is true for B rated ones, however this Samsung is cheaper than their B rated ones (perhaps because AO want to get rid of stock)

Does anyone have any advice on what to buy?
Thanks

What temps does the inside of your garage get down to? Not all devices are claimed as suitable for outbuildings etc1

The other option is to put it in the living room which would look a bit weird0 -
Yeah most fridge freezers like at least 10 degrees. The Bosch looks to use 163kWh not 190 and is half the price of the Samsung. It would take a lot of years for the Samsung to pay for itself in efficiency savings. Our freezer is a Beko and that can be used in low temperatures but whether their fridge freezers can too I don’t know.
Also, since they future proofed the energy rating system for appliances then a C is pretty good going so don’t let that put you off a model that meets your other needs.Smart Tech Specialist with Octopus Energy Services (all views my own). 4.44kW SW Facing in-roof array with 3.6kW Givenergy Gen 2 Hybrid inverter and 9.5kWh Givenergy battery. 9kW Panasonic Aquarea L (R290) ASHP. #gasfree since July ‘231 -

I initially wanted a 685 litre Haier but sadly the width is *just* too much unless I also knock a little bit more of my kitchen off0 -
I worked these out some time ago in the thread I started, no one was really interested in it tho. But I was asking how long do you think a FF should last, and what you think it should last as it affects which ones to buy with a coat over time.
If you have bad luck like me they tend not to last more than 5-6 years, where others were saying they should last a minimum of 10 years.
The cost of the Bosch has gone up £40 and the Samsung by £160 since I ran the numbers in June, July time but I've altered the cost for the prices you have said of the freezer and price per kWh.
Below is the bosh is expected to last 7 years and the Samsung 10 year's.
Below is them both lasting 10 year's.
And here is them both lasting 15 year's.
Anyhow here is the link to the thread... https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/6367785/fridge-freezer-energy-ratings/p1
Which would I buy? As I don't have good luck with the longevity of white appliance's I would go for the bosch, as it always works out cheaper. Once you factor in the cost of the appliance.1 -

The both the ones you linked to states it needs they need a room temp of 10-43C and so if it does drop to 5C as you predict it will be outside their operating environments.

Do you need extra fridge and freezer space? It’s the fridge side of things that is precluding it from going in the garage. You can get standalone freezers that’ll cope with up to -15 CSmart Tech Specialist with Octopus Energy Services (all views my own). 4.44kW SW Facing in-roof array with 3.6kW Givenergy Gen 2 Hybrid inverter and 9.5kWh Givenergy battery. 9kW Panasonic Aquarea L (R290) ASHP. #gasfree since July ‘231

There is an "E" rated freezer here, however assuming 54p a kWh that's £175 to run
