Just moved into new flat, property guardian so go thru an agent rather than council or letting agency, having trouble setting up my engery account, British Gas, eon etc won’t supply my flat , I receive electric and power but in not paying for it! When I try to set it up with the suppliers, they won’t set it up! Some companies just want to install smart meters or pay a £200 deposit, I know the previous company was Scottish power but they didn't respond, rather they get a massive bill in the coming months, I would rather set it up asap

Hi,if SP, were previous supplier, then you are now a customer of them. You need to contact them again, supply meter readings and set up an account, then you can switch if you wish.2
