Did your sister send the 30 days hold instruction?
Has she complained to her MP about this discrimination against a disabled person?
What I didn't know was that she called the services as soon as she received the original PCN to be told there was nothing they could do, her only recourse was to contact CPP!
Sadly nothing in writing.Always try to be at least half the person your dog thinks you are!2 -
Update:
After sending emails to CPP/DCBL/MOTO regards the Equality act (thank you c-m & Fruitcake) & contacting her MP, she received this mail this morning....Dear Sir/Madam,
Thank you for your correspondence relating to your Parking Charge.
We can confirm that your Charge has subsequently been cancelled in full and no further action will be taken as a gesture of goodwill on this occasion only.
Please ensure that payment for parking is made on future visits should your stay exceed the 2-hour free period.
Please disregard any letters received that predate this correspondence.
Yours faithfully,
CP Plus Ltd
The only slight concern is that she later received emails responding to the SAR & the 30 day hold requests, I'm hoping it's a "left hand doesn't know what right hand is doing" moment?Always try to be at least half the person your dog thinks you are!2 -
They are still obliged to respond to the SAR, the cancellation of the PCN doesn't absolve them. What (and from whom) is the response to the 30-day hold request? Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

As said, what did the SAR response say ....... No doubt typical of these types not to know what the left hand is doing from the right.
The joke from CP Plus is this .... "as a gesture of goodwill on this occasion only."
Their cannot be "on this occasion only" where the Equality act is involved.
Both CP Plus and MOTO can be prosectuted for such a failure
As Moto are responsible for their agents, they will have told CP Plus to cancel and hopefully in the future, they will expect CP Plus to respect and understand the law to which breaking it carries a high penalty
MOTO is a place to avoid and you must tell everyone you know to avoid them like the plague ..... This is the penalty MOTO must expect for employing a parking scammer .......

Tell DCBLegal to go swivel! I would.
Rude as she likes, by return email. Demand that they get lost and erase this data completely because they won't be getting any money from her.
IMHO they are a threat to consumers and not an outfit that deserve polite responses. The roboclaim greedy gits need to get the hell out of the PPC trough.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
