The myth of "Typical Usage" - the Green penalty
Comments
-
Sometimes - in other cases like us it can be where it's impractical because of the building construction to install central heating though. And in some places where a mains gas supply can't be used, bottled gas is used for cooking but electricity for everything else. I imagine there may well be other scenarios in which E7 will work out better for people too.Spoonie_Turtle said:
Thanks for the correction![Deleted User] said:58% day, 4200kWh is the cap calculation value iirc.
That doesn’t mean that a typical user consumes 4200kWh of electricity and nothing else though.
I thought the purpose of Economy 7 was supposed to be for all-electric, to relieve some of the extra cost of space and water heating using electricity rather thsn gas?🎉 MORTGAGE FREE (First time!) 30/09/2016 🎉 And now we go again…New mortgage taken 01/09/23 🏡
