So we know that a simple pro-rata is the industry standard (as dictated by Ofgem?) which is ridiculous. EonNext corrected mine without proof, issued a new statement and paid the excess a couple of days later. So all credit to them there but why they can't go back to the old system of allowing us to enter a reading for the 31st March beats me. And yes I hope more people do complain so they are more inclined to sort this out.

So, having had no reply to my email and having received the payment showing on the original statement, I rang them today. The chap on the phone said they’d had lots of calls about this, and he understood ‘they’ were looking at some changes for next year but he wasn’t sure exactly what.Within a few minutes he’d corrected the figures and I received a new statement before the call had ended. Was told to expect the additional amount in the next few days. Excellent service, just frustrating that it was needed in the first place.2.22kWp Solar PV system installed Oct 2010, Fronius IG20 Inverter, south facing (-5 deg), 30 degree pitch, no shadingEverything will be alright in the end so, if it’s not yet alright, it means it’s not yet the endMFW #4 OPs: 2018 £866.89, 2019 £1322.33, 2020 £1337.07
