In the past, in some occasions my balance dropped below £5,000. I still see 2.35% are shown on my accounts.pearl123 said:Hi,

Santander is gone (replaced with a lower rate for new applicants). Cynergy is still available.

I've just dropped my money down to £100 with Al Rayan. It still says it's 2.35% on the account.
I might top the money back up again, until the interest pay day.

No requirement to keep the balance at 5k+.
