Not received £66
Hi, has anyone not received their £66 yet?
I am a British gas customer, I pay regular monthly payments via a MAG card at the post office. I had a £66 credit to my electricity account on the 4th October that was then removed immediately after. I questioned this and was told MAG card customers would be receiving a cheque through the post and that it had been sent out to me.
We are now the 18th October and I have received nothing.
I have contacted BG several times both by phone and live chat and I am getting absolutely nowhere, all I keep getting is the same response "just be patient, it will arrive".
Whilst I appreciate Royal mail is operating at its best just now I have been receiving regular post despite this so after 14 days I'm not really buying the "just be patient" anymore.
It's nigh on impossible to raise a complaint with BG, ombudsman won't help because it hasn't yet been the minimum time frame to raise a complaint with them.
I am quite literally banging my head against a brick wall and have no idea where to turn next.
The second payment is due very shortly and I haven't even yet had my first, also dreading the next 6 months if I'm going to have this battle every time.
My apologies for the long post but I'm really hoping someone will be able to advise on what I can do next to try and resolve this.

Even those with DD's are seeing 10-14+ days before the credit is made after the DD is taken. May or may not be an indication of how long it may take for a cheque to be sent as well.0
