Halifax reward debit card refunds

Does anybody know if a refund to a debit card on Halifax reward account reduces the overall debit card spend for the purposes of the £5 monthly reward. One of the conditions is £500 monthly debit card spend, but I had an item refunded last week to take me under £500 net spend, and the tracker still shows I have spent more than £500.
Yes the date on the tracker is after the date of the refund (by several days) so the tracker should have taken this into account by now - if it was going to.

Give it a couple of days and if the reward tracker says 'Yaahh' you should be ok.
If not, or you want to be certain, use the card to top up the spend again.
