Interactivebrokers - do they charge any "inactivity" fees (e.g. minimum commission)?

Hi all,

I want to open an interactive brokers account to earn interest on some US$ I have (2.5% interest, v 0% for HSBC where it currently is) and possibly buy some US Treasuries ("buy and hold" strategy).

However, I'm unclear if they charge a platform monthly fee, or not.

One one page, it says there is a monthly minimum commission of $10 (here: https://www.interactivebrokers.co.uk/en/index.php?f=1597&p=act) and on another page, it says "account minimums: $0" (here: https://www.interactivebrokers.co.uk/en/index.php?f=38234)

This is confusing to me. Can someone confirm for the UK site = do they charge a monthly fee / minimum commission? Or can I chuck some money in for a while, and leave it without fear of brokerage nibbling when I return?

Thanks!
