Lloyds - Unauthorised pending transaction.

My other half has a pending transaction appear on her Club Lloyds account, dated yesterday from Amazon. It wasn't her transaction and she only uses a certain credit card for all Amazon purchases.
It's a fairly new, month old account opened for the recent Lloyds incentive and the card has been used only once in the local Asda, chip & pin.
Do we have to wait to see if it goes through before raising it as fraud?
There was only £10 in the account, the transaction is for £18, so the balance is showing as -£8, i.e. going into an unarranged overdraft.

Raise it as a suspect Fraud - nothing to loose, a lot to gain.
Never pay on an estimated bill. Always read and understand your bill0 -
Don't wait. Call them now.Life in the slow lane0

Phoned them in the early evening, the transaction had actually gone through by then leaving me with a negative balance. They are cancelling the card and refunding the account tomorrow. Forgot to ask if there was a fee for being overdrawn but it shouldn't apply in this case anyway.0

You shouldn't be charged for the unarranged overdraft (and even where you are, it should be refunded due to fraudulent use).Given the freshness of the account, the fact it's only been used once at a Point of Sale and as far as I know Amazon require the CVV2 which is on the back of the card, that is some compelling evidence as to where any investigation would start (it if ever did!) for me.0

I seem to recall that you may be asked for the CVV the first time you use that card as the payment method on Amazon.phillw said:
