Energy cooling off notice
Hi, I'm a newbie. Can anyone answer this question please?
I am with British Gas (moved from Peoples Energy who went bust).
In July I transferred to their Loyalty June 23V2 fixed until June 23.
Last week (13th Oct) sent an email strongly suggesting I "clicked" to transfer to Standard variable rate (to be honest there wasn't much difference in cost based on my estimated use).
Now because of the government Uturn I want to cancel the switch but not sure if it is covered under the 14 days cooling notice. Its impossible to contact BG atm . Thanks

But worth contacting them if you want to cancel the switch, you did do it on their recommendation.
They may be happy to stop it.Barnsley, South Yorkshire
