Annoying buyer

Just had my ‘favourite’ sort of buyer on an auction on my private account.
Bid on the same day I listed it, then bid again two days later and again yesterday , so of course I was thinking he really wanted this item especially as no one else was bidding. Won the item last night at starting price and this morning he’s just contacted me to say he wants to cancel his order as he bid by accident.
Obviously I’ve cancelled sale and blocked him, but am intrigued how someone can bid 3 times by accident over a period of a week.

Thank goodness sales are good at the moment so his £17 purchase doesn’t really make a lot of difference, but I can’t work out what he was doing. Luckily it was on my private account so I can just wait for the next FVF offer day and relist.

Probably hoping you relist at a lower price. I would stick it back on at a small premium.Censorship Reigns Supreme in Troll City...2

It’s so annoying isn’t it.And my favourite sellers are the ones who, after you’ve won at a very good price, tell you they’ve lost it, it’s damaged or any other excuse to not sell it to you.
sorry Soolin, I digress.3 -
What's even more annoying is being charged the fixed 30p free regardless, and then having to wait another week or two for the next discounted listing offer period to relist it!
I also block these buyers straight away.
Another annoyance is the buyers who return an item claiming it's faulty when in fact its just a change of mind, meaning I am out the FVF, the postage, AND the return postage too!!
In some cases this can be £20-30 in total!
Yes I can report the buyer, but this does nothing really and is a pointless exercise.1 -
