Morning all
It's gorgeous on the Kent coast. First load of washing is out. Dinner last night was sausage casserole. I put one tiny home grown chilli in and it was fierce. Our visiting hedgehogs are eating loads at the moment. Plans today are sorting out my dining room come sewing room. Dinner is chicken curry made in the slow cooker. Have a fabulous day all8 -
Hi everyone,
Gers, I have about 16 pairs that actually stay on me. I have a very flat bottom and small hips (big tum and boobs though) and have terrible problems with knickers sliding down when I walk. I don't buy form MandS any more (sacrilege) for that reason and have found jockey ones to be best but they are a bit eye-wincingly pricey so I wait till they have an offer before I buy.
I finished my cupboard inventory but decided not to tackle the freezer until today. I also sorted through our drinks cupboard and discarded a couple of odd things that have been sitting there since the year dot, neither of us are big drinkers (i caan't remember the last time I had an alcoholic drink - I don't like the taste of wine or beer) but the house is full of booze because of Laura's job. We've decided to put some wine racks in the garage which will at least get that out of the house, atm we have boxes dotted around the dining room from when L & B moved in and I want them gone.
Bedding is in the washing machine, hopefully it will stay nice enough to peg out today.
Have a good day.

Morning all, the sun is out but it's cold and still only 7 degrees. We collected the 'van cushions and curtains yesterday and then curtains were washed and dried outside. They are still waiting to be folded up and bagged though.
Today we were out early to the sm, thought I'd be there and back by 9 am but another of Mr Fix It's cousins stopped us for a chat. It was lovely to see her with her DH and DD in tow, but blimey can she talk, she'd talk me into a cocked hat and that's saying something! Back home now, the fresh and frozen stuff has been put away and the wm is on. I'll hang it out in a minute then finish putting the rest of the stuff away. I did buy some things extra to put away for xmas, plus 2 advent calendars and also chocs for the upcoming birthdays. I also treated myself to 2 new oven trays, such extravagance 😂 I rang Dad yesterday and he's much better, he thinks he ate something which didn't agree with him. He's a devil for eating food that has been in the fridge for ages 😱 🤢 but he won't listen 🤨
dp1 well done on the bargain ship. My DGS loved playing pirates but could be a bit embarrassing when he would tell me to walk the plank at a certain play area we visited (and like an idiot I would do it 🤣)
Hope everyone gets their washing dried today. Have a good day all. Hugs to everyone.
Take care
nan xx
