First prize provided by InsideAsia Tours and Asiana Airlines

The first prize includes 4 nights in Seoul, 1 night Andong, 1 night Gyeongju, 2 nights Busan, 1 night in the Jeollan-do region and 1 night in Jeonju. The trip will include 12 nights at named accommodation, breakfast every day, transport between destinations, airport transfers, some private guiding in Seoul, Andong, Busan, Jeollan-do and Jeonju. There will be some other meals and experiences included which will be confirmed by InsideAsia at the time of booking. The first prize is based on two people travelling together throughout the trip with 1 x twin or double room included. Most dinners and lunches are not included.

The prize is non-transferable, non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash.

The first prize includes 2 x economy return international flights from London Heathrow to Seoul (including all taxes) provided by Asiana Airlines but purchased by InsideAsia Tours. These tickets are non-transferable, non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash.

The first prize does not include transfers within the UK. This will be the responsibility of the winner(s).

The prize must be taken between 1st January and 31st December 2023. The prize should avoid the following dates - 20th – 24th January 2023, 24th April – 5 May 2023, 17 July – 18 August 2023 and 27th September – 8th October 2023.

The winner(s) of the first prize agree to take part in reasonable publicity by entering the competition and will agree to providing digital content in the form of photographs and video from their trip of South Korea.

It is the responsibility of the winner(s) to ensure they have a valid passport and obtain any necessary travel insurance, vaccinations or applicable visas for their trip. No responsibility will be taken if the winner/s are unable to travel due to insufficient documentation.

Compliance with any health or other government requirements is the responsibility of the winner. It is the responsibility of the winner to enquire about local issues and conditions at destinations before travel.

Any costs incurred from changes post booking, such as a name change or other amends, are the winner’s responsibility to pay.

The winner is responsible for getting to any departure points (for flights etc), in time for security checks and the check-in procedures on the day of departure. Travel costs to airports are at the winner’s own expense.

In the event of war, terrorism, state of emergency, disaster or any other circumstance beyond the control of the Provider, they reserve the right to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the promotion at any time and without notice. This also applies to any actual, anticipated or alleged breach of any applicable law or regulation, or if travel would be contrary to UK Foreign Office advice, or if circumstances arise outside of its control that prevent the implementation of the prize.

The runner-up prizes are provided by V&A South Kensington

Five winners will receive a pair of complimentary tickets to view the Hallyu! The Korean Wave exhibition at V&A South Kensington, London once during the exhibition’s duration (24th September 2022 – 25th June 2023).

No cash alternative available. Refunds on the products selected are also unavailable.

Choosing winners

The winners will be chosen at random from those participants whose entries have reached InsideAsia Tours by the competition closing date of December 5th.

The winner will be contacted by email and details will be provided via email on how to claim and book the prize. In the event that the prize notification email is returned as undeliverable, the prize will be forfeited, and an alternative winner will be selected from all remaining (non-winning) eligible entries. The winner must confirm acceptance in writing of the prize and these terms and conditions within 7 days of being contacted by InsideAsia Tours. If the prize is not claimed within 7 days, an alternative winner will be selected.

If for any reason a winner drops out of the prize due to health or personal reasons, the InsideAsia Tours and partner has the right to select another winner at its discretion. The Promoter and Provider do not accept any responsibility if the winner is unable to accept the prize.
