Converting front half of garage into bedroom back of garage left as is. Garage door replaced with window. It's a single garage been quoted between 12000 and 15000. Other builders have quoted 18000 not sure which is more accurate!

what are they planning with the roof . do you need gas and electric . plumbing . water / toilets . Double wall insulation . . Garage door out , half bricked up and window in budget £2000 ish

What do you plan on doing with the remainder of the garage ?It would make sense to convert the whole space and put in a stud wall to create two rooms (subject to planning) - The difference in cost is going to be minimal.Any language construct that forces such insanity in this case should be abandoned without regrets. –
