British Gas tariff options

So BG is telling me online the only tariff available to me is the SVR 

G KWh	G SC	E KWh	E SC
10.309p per kWh	28.485p per day	35.056	38.937

I can see a very long list of other tariffs, but no select option and  I note the Important information states "This tariff may no longer be available to sign up to and is included for reference purpose only. See our current energy tariffs here. Get a quote."
Get a Quote takes me back to We've got one tariff for you to explore i.e. SVR

I note the list of other tariffs includes fixes and exclusive versions. Has anyone only initially offered a SVR and  negotiated another tariff from the exhaustive list?

I would be very surprised if a supplier let you choose an old tariff, particularly given the upheaval in the sector at the moment.

But are they 'old' - some look like two year fixes etc.

Yes.  They are not being offered to you now - therefore they are old.

It doesn't matter if some other people are already on them.  They are closed.

O.K. I just saw fixed until 2024 and others until Nov 2023 and interpreted them as possibly more recent tariffs.   The fact  some other people are already on them was not part of my thought process.
