Why has RBS charged me interest days after a transaction?

Things to remember
If you make any purchases after your 0% purchase offer has ended, you will be charged interest on those purchases from the date they are debited to your account. Interest will also be charged on any purchase balance brought forward from a previous month.
I agree it's confusing. Complain and see if they remove it as a gesture of goodwill.

I will complain just to see what they say, never really had any dealings with RBS/Natwest so not sure what their CS is like.0 -

RBS have actually done nothing wrong. In my experience, most card companies are sympathetic to a genuine mistake and will often reverse charges etc. as long as it's only a very occasional occurrence - if you ask them nicely!
